Good quality and value restaurant that caters well for large groups. Superb service. Seafood, steaks and traditional Algarvian dishes.

Bar and Bistro with waterside dining. A little pricey but great food and setting.

O MANDARIN

Just around the corner Chinese restaurant that will also do a ‘take-away’. All meals are freshly prepared with no artificial additives, great tasting.

RESTAURANT DOS ARTISTAS, Lagos Town Centre

This is our favourite. Situated in a magnificent townhouse offering fine international cuisine with a beautiful garden for alfresco dining should you so wish. Arguably the best restaurant in Lagos!

CACHOA RESTAURANTE, between Lagos and Luz opposite Boavista Golf Resort

An old converted farmhouse with dining terrace, lovely food; beautifully presented.

RESTAURANTE ATLANTICO & COCKTAIL BAR, MEIA PRAIA beach

Traditional Portuguese food, simply prepared. A huge wine list, the biggest we have have ever seen with fine cognacs and brandies dating back to 1780.

BARS.

Lagos comes alive at night. Head towards the centre and Lagos’s Market Square, here you will find street entertainers and buskers. Then you can hit the bars and clubs, a lot of which will see you partying to 7a.m. if you are up for it.

KUINNS

This bar is open to 4.a.m. Offering some excellent house music and the staff are great.

JOE’S GARAGE

A bar experience to remember! Very popular, Dirty Sanchez finished their European tour here and has also featured on MTV.

STONES

A true-blue Rock bar.

STEVIE RAY’S

A Blues and Jazz bar with live music most nights.

PHOENIX CLUB

Nightclub with DJs open to 6.a.m. An eclectic music mix of rock, indie with house and hip-hop.

BON VIVANT

Café bar/Nightclub with roof terrace. Great dance music and cocktails.

LAZY JACK’S

Sports bar. When you have finished partying head to ‘Jacks’ for breakfast. Also,great for the afternoon drink or to watch the premiership games and other sports. Friendly staff.
